Michael Jingozian wins Iowa Straw Poll

(Portland, OR) “Jingozian fever” is on the rise. Michael Jingozian won the Iowa straw poll on March 15, 2008. His message of accountability and change in Washington is catching the eyes of the Libertarian delegates as they lead up to their national convention on May 23-25, 2008.

Jingozian has already appeared on the front-page covers of the St. John’s Sentinel and the Portland Business Journal, which dubbed Jingozian “Don Quixote with an entrepreneurial streak.” Jingozian is fast becoming the candidate to watch as we approach the Libertarian National Convention in Denver, Colorado, during Memorial Day weekend.

One of Iowa’s longest termed and well respected delegates gave an impassioned speech on Jingozian’s behalf, specifically referencing his business background and skills which are necessary qualities in a candidate and in a future leader.

The Internet Advertising entrepreneur has recently seen a huge swell in support from voters of a wide range of political backgrounds. However, as stated by Roger Dean, Jingozian’s Campaign Manager, “We’ve been most successful at attracting Ron Paul supporters to our movement. Michael has always been a big supporter of Congressman Paul and their platforms are very similar.” The Campaign has recently released a new video on the popular site YouTube. The video provides Ron Paul supporters with a message that inspires them to continue the fight for liberty and also provides the Libertarian Party with a ground base from which to be heard on a national scale.

With the recent surge in support from Ron Paul supporters, the increasing interest among voters during his recent campaign stops and an aggressive Internet media blitz, some political insiders say that, “this movement has the potential to catapult all 3rd parties, including the Greens, Working Families, Reform and yes, of course, the Libertarians onto the public stage.”
